BENSALEM, PA—The 124-room Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Bensalem is set to open here on Saturday, August 23, 2014.
The property will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by AVA Development and managed by Keystone Hotel Management. It features Courtyard’s latest contemporary room design and offers access to Parx Casino, Sesame Place and downtown Philadelphia.
Upon arrival, guests can store bags on the Luggage Drop and plug personal devices into the Tech Drop ledge. The new room design features signature furniture and architectural elements in place of traditional art, the LoungeAround sofa and a light desk on wheels. Bathrooms feature a Shower Nook for shampoos and towels.
The Refreshing Business lobby environment features media pods, complimentary WiFi and various seating zones. The lobby also offers The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect. with casual seating, healthy menu options for breakfast, and light evening fare, such as snacks, cocktails, wine and beer.
The business library features several computer terminals with a printer, as well as separate computer stations for printing boarding passes and checking flight status.
Additional amenities at the four-story hotel include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, an outdoor gas fire pit and guest laundry, as well as 1,200 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate events of up to 150 people.
