NEWARK, NJ—The Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott has completed renovations of its lobby and 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
According to general manager John Magnifico, the new Greatroom lobby and renovated meeting space mark the final phase of a complete renovation of the hotel. The hotel's lobby has been re-imagined into a casual, functional Great Room, which features plenty of places to relax, congregate and plug in, according to the company.
Designed for the millennial travelers, the lobby seating is functional yet flexible, according to the company, and includes ottomans and other furnishings which can be moved around. The renovation also gives the property the newest meeting and event space in the area, including a 10,000 square-foot Grand Ballroom, according to the company.
