TAIYUAN, CHINA—Kempinski unveiled its latest mainland hotel today in Taiyuan. Kempinski currently operates 19 hotels in China, with an additional property scheduled to open in Beijing in 2014.
Located in the center of the Dragon City, Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan is a contemporary hotel that is close to the city’s main shopping centers and office buildings.
“As a landmark building in town, Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan will be the first choice of large companies and government offices for accommodation, business needs, meetings and exhibitions,” stated Carsten Wiegandt, general manager of Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan. “Everything has been considered down to the finest details to allow us to bring our customers a personalized European luxury experience.”
The hotel features 363 guestrooms and suites, all of which are contemporarily designed. Each room is equipped with a coffee machine, wooden floors, rainforest showers and bathtubs. Located on the 30th floor and the 28th floor, respectively, the Executive Suites and Diplomatic Suites offer a separate living room and a sitting area, in addition to large furnishings and bath amenities designed by French designer Blaise Mautin.
Located on the seventh floor, the fitness center offers high-tech facilities, a 25-meter indoor-heated swimming pool and aerobics and yoga classes.
