IHG Opens First Holiday Inn Resort in New England

ATLANTA–InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), based here, has opened the Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor Regency.
The 280-room resort includes four floors and features KidSuites Rooms which are located within a guestroom designed specifically with bunk beds, themed decor and a TV with electronic video games. In addition, the resort has a well-equipped fitness center, business center, game room, tennis court and 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, as well as an outdoor pool with pool bar, hot tub and a Kids Club.
An activity program for the whole family offers free on-site activities including searching for tidal pools, sea glass and sea creatures. Guests can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the property’s on-site restaurant. THe company adds that the Holiday Inn brand was conceived as a cost-effective way for families to enjoy budget friendly vacation alternatives.
The Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor Regency is owned and operated by Eden Street Trust and is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
