ATLANTA—The Fairfield Inn in Ann Arbor, MI, has been sold to a private investor. Atlanta-based Hunter Hotel Advisors represented one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate groups in the transaction of the hotel.
According to the company, a significant renovation is in the works for the hotel.
“This was an attractive acquisition because of the proximity to the University of Michigan and the strength of the Marriot brand, “ Teague Hunter, president of Hunter Hotel Advisors, said in a statement. “This was a very clean transaction and both parties were very pleased with the process.”
