Holiday Inn Monclova Opens in Mexico

MONCLOVA, MEXICO—IHG and Auteles Kalionchiz S.A. de C.V. have opened the Holiday Inn Monclova here.
Located in the state of Coahuila, it is the first Holiday Inn and the fifth IHG-branded hotel in the state.
Auteles Kalionchiz S.A. de C.V. has invested $10 million in the Holiday Inn Monclova hotel. All 128 rooms feature double, queen or king-sized beds; a sitting area with a lounge chair; a hairdryer; micro fridge; coffee maker; iron and ironing board. Additionally, the Presidential Suite has a living room, hot tub and a meeting room for eight people.
Other amenities include a fitness center, business center, pool, laundry and dry cleaning services, as well as two meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 500 people. F&B options include the Kalionchiz Restaurant, featuring Mexican and international cuisine, and the Bar Emporio.
The property is located eight minutes away from the Industrial Zone and nearby to tourist attractions like the Museo Biblioteca Harold R. Pape, the Museo de Aspectos Historicos El Povorin and Parques Xochipili, a park.
The hotel is owned and managed by Inmobiliaria Auteles Kalionchiz SA de CV. And is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
