CHARLOTTE, NC—Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced that the Hilton Charlotte
University Place has begun a $4-million renovation, which will be completed in 2016.
The Hilton Charlotte University Place is a Charlotte University lakeside hotel with a 24-hour business center and 17 meeting rooms boasting 20,000 sq. ft. of function space--both receiving a complete upgrade.
All 393 guestrooms in the Hilton Charlotte University Place are being completely renovated. The Executive Rooms are located on the top four floors of the hotel and have a panoramic view of the University City area. These rooms will feature robes, slippers, upgraded toiletries and an iPad docking station. All five King room junior suites, featuring a one bedroom adjacent by a living room are also being completely redone with first-class amenities.
Executive Level guests enjoy access to the Concierge Lounge featuring continental breakfast and evening hors d'Oeuvres, beverages and an honor bar. Upgrades to the Executive Lounge include adding an espresso machine, new seating and updated furniture.
Fitness-minded guests will find an outdoor swimming pool, a lakeside jogging trail, and a 24-hour fitness center at the hotel. The fitness center renovations are already completed, offering the newest Precor exercise equipment with the latest technology.
