MIAMI BEACH, FL—Hilton Cabana Miami Beach, located on Collins Ave. in the emerging sub-market known as Millionaire’s Row, will debut this summer.
The 231-key hotel sits on the property that formerly housed the Allison Hotel and consists of a 10-story main building and a six-story Cabana-style building. The design of the hotel is meant to be reminiscent of the golden age of 1950s Miami Beach, according to the company. All guestrooms offer amenities such as a 42-in. flat-screen TV, in-room safe, work desk with ergonomic chair and in-room minibar. In-room WiFi is complimentary as part of the resort fee. Some guestrooms include balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay or the pool. The hotel has 12 suites with different configurations, including junior suites, one-bedroom suites and two signature suites: The Allison Suite and The Collins Suite. The hotel’s brand-new guest bathrooms have backlit vanities and walk-in showers.
The hotel features 119 ft. of beachfront property; the hotel’s beach is semi-private and without public access. In addition, the hotel also offers two outdoor pools and a Jacuzzi spa. Each pool has its own dining menu and beverage service.
Dining options at the hotel include L’echon Brasserie, the newest outpost from The Pubbelly Group, the restaurant team behind South Beach restaurants Pubbelly, Pubbelly Sushi, Pubbelly Steak and Barceloneta.
Hilton Cabana Miami Beach offers three unique spaces for special events, including space within the outdoor pools, a 2,000 sq.-ft. outdoor courtyard area and the ability to book private functions at L’echon Brasserie. Both outdoor pools are capable of hosting private parties, upon request.
Additional onsite amenities include a Connectivity Center featuring WiFi access, a 24-hour fitness facility equipped with state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength-training equipment and a full-service Concierge Desk within the hotel lobby.
The hotel is operated by Highgate Hotels, L.P., under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China. In what could only be seen as good news for the industry, that expectation moved a little closer to reality when President Obama signed a visa waiver extension for Chinese travelers earlier this month.
