SAVANNAH, GA—The new Embassy Suites Savannah has opened its doors in historic downtown district here.
The 150-suite hotel features the brand's Design Option III model, which includes a variety of suites as well as a contemporary atrium area. The hotel was constructed and developed by Bennett Hospitality and will be managed by Hilton Worldwide. Christopher Crane, a 30-year hospitality veteran, has been named as general manager.
"We're delighted to expand our presence in Georgia and particularly in the heart of downtown Savannah," said John Rogers, global head of Embassy Suites Hotels. "This is the second property in the area to feature the Embassy Suites brand's Design III Option concept, which brings the unique Embassy Suites attributes to life in a way that is attractive to developers and contributes toward an enhanced experience."
