Britannia Group Acquires Carrington House Hotel

BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND—Britannia Hotels have announced their latest hotel acquisition, the Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth. The 145-room hotel was purchased from Forestdale Hotels for an undisclosed amount.
Bournemouth is a coastal resort town in the county of Dorset, England. The hotel is situated near blue flag beaches and the Sovereign shopping center. The hotel features conference facilities, games room, on-site restaurant, bar and a heated indoor swimming pool.
The Carrington House Hotel is the latest in a string of recent acquisitions for the chain and is part of their expansion plans. Other recent acquisitions for the Britannia group include the Waterside Hotel in Peterhead and the Britannia Edinburgh Hotel.
