CLEVELAND—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. opened an Aloft hotel in Beachwood, OH, an upscale suburb of Cleveland.
Aloft Beachwood is the second Aloft in greater Cleveland, following the recent opening of Aloft Cleveland Downtown. Owned by Boutique Hotel LP and managed by Midas Hospitality, Aloft Beachwood features 135 guestrooms including seven suites and 1,890 sq. ft. of meeting space.
“Aloft Beachwood offers travelers an exciting new option in Cleveland’s east side suburban business district,” stated Brian McGuinness, SVP of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. “Aloft recently reached the 75th hotel milestone, fueled by the enthusiasm of its strong and loyal base of next generation travelers who appreciate the brand’s leading-edge design and buzzing social scene.”
Situated off of the I-271 corridor, Aloft Beachwood is directly in front of Eaton Corporation’s new U.S. headquarters and across from University Hospital’s Ahuja Medical Center.
