America’s Best Franchising, Inc. Opens Nine Hotels in Q3

ATLANTA—America’s Best Franchising, Inc. has opened nine new hotels during the third quarter, bringing its total up to 22 new hotels year-to-date, amounting to 1,808 rooms.
The nine new properties include Jameson Inns & Suites in Brunswick, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Conway, SC; Monroe, NC; and Bowling Green, KY; America’s Best Inns & Suites in Siler City, NC; and Stewartville, MN; a Country Hearth Inns & Suites in Piedmont, AL; and a 3 Palms Hotels & Resorts in Jaisal Villas, in the Rajasthan province in northwestern India.
The company now operates almost 300 hotels, primarily in the United States, but it also has a presence in India, China, Canada and Belize.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China. In what could only be seen as good news for the industry, that expectation moved a little closer to reality when President Obama signed a visa waiver extension for Chinese travelers earlier this month.
