DENVER—Kevin Hanley has joined HREC Investment Advisors as senior vp in the company's Washington, DC office.
Hanley, who is a 35-year veteran of the hospitality industry, was most recently CEO of Sunburst Hospitality. In addition, he has held senior level positions with Choice Hotels, Manor Care and Motel 6 LP.
"HREC's multi-faceted platform, which supports hotel investors through asset transactions, debt and equity sourcing and broad consulting services will allow me to service clients in the Mid-atlantic and Northeast most effectively," said Hanley. "The strong East Coast markets continue to attract lodging investors' interest."
"With Kevin Hanley's addition to the HREC team, we continue to provide a deep source of skills and experience to our nationwide organization for the benefit of our clients. Kevin's experience, not only in transactions, but in leading an operating company for the past 12 years, gives him strategic and tactical perspective," said Mike Cahill, CEO and founder of HREC.
