Ivy joined the company as chief development officer, Americas, in late January after spending some 16 months with Interstate Hotels & Resorts as EVP, acquisitions and development. Ivy brought with him nearly 20 years of hotel industry experience, including stints with Westin Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International and Hyatt Hotels Corp.
In his most recent position with Carlson, Ivy was expected to significantly bolster the company's pipeline of owned/managed and franchised hotels.
