KENNEBUNKPORT, ME—The Kennebunkport Resort Collection has restructured its management team with an eye on enhancing the guest experience at each property and realize synergies between them.
The restructuring will further enhance KRC’s reputation for fine dining and hospitality, according to KRC Founding Partner and Operator Debbie Lennon. Justin Grimes, general manager of the luxury resort Hidden Pond, will add management of The Tides Beach Club to his roster. Damien Janowicz, the former general manager of The Tides Beach Club, will now manage the Kennebunkport Inn and the Cape Arundel Inn & Resort, which this year encompasses the Old Fort Inn to offer a richer resort experience to guests. Mindy Markowski, who in previous seasons oversaw the Old Fort Inn & Resort and Cape Arundel Inn, now serves as general manager of the Grand Hotel and The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel.
KRC rolled out the dual-property management strategy last summer with the launch of The Lodge on the Cove. Christy Reid assumed general manager duties of the new family-friendly resort with a “retro chic” vibe in addition to her responsibilities at The Cottages at Cabot Cove.
