EXETER, NH—Hay Creek Hotels promoted industry veteran George F. Soderberg II to VP/operations, responsible for the overall operations direction of all its properties.
Soderberg joined Hay Creek Hotels in 2009 as corporate director of sales and marketing, taking on a variety of responsibilities, including cost controls, design and implementation of service and operational standards, marketing, sales, market analysis, revenue management analysis, food and beverage marketing and conception.
Prior to joining Hay Creek Hotels, George spent 22 in years in various sales and managerial roles with Omni Hotels.
In 2007, he served as general manager of the Sheraton Portsmouth Hotel for two years.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
