NEW YORK—Ralph Bahna, former chairman of Priceline.com, has passed away at the age of 71.
Bahna was a board member of Priceline, now the largest U.S. online travel agent, in 1998 when it started. He became chairman in 2004 and served until his retirement in January 2013. In the early 1990's Bahna developed a new business called Club Quarters, a international chain of hotels for business travelers in major cities. Bahna started his career at TWA, where he developed and launched its Ambassador Service. He also served as CEO of Cunard Lines, Ltd.
