VERNON HILLS, IL—American Hotel Register Company has appointed Deidre Schwartz director of FF&E design and social responsibility.
In this role, Schwartz will gain more leadership responsibility for growing the company’s FF&E design business and its expanding social responsibility initiatives.
Her seven-year tenure included providing the vision for the company’s newly redesigned FF&E INSPIRED catalogue in 2013. A 120-page supplement is slated for release this September.
She leads the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee, which has launched a recycling and composting program that is diverting an increasing amount of single stream recycling and organic waste from the landfills, according to the company.
American Hotel Register Company recently signed an agreement with Mind-Click Consortium, joining hotel brands, manufacturers and suppliers to work toward a transparent social responsibility index.
