ATLANTA—Hotel Equities has been selected to manage two Wyndham branded hotels, one property on International Drive in Orlando and a new hotel in Southwest Texas.
The Atlanta-based firm’s eleventh management contract in Florida marks its first in the Orlando market. For its entry into the state of Texas, the firm was tapped for a new-build property set to open later this month.
“We are thrilled to add our first hotel in the state of Texas,” said Joe Reardon, VP of business development for Hotel Equities. “Cotulla and LaSalle County are the site of one of the largest economic booms in Texas history as drilling for oil and natural gas increases. The hotel is ideally positioned and well-appointed to meet the demand.”
“Florida has been a great market for our firm and we’ve delivered excellent results for our investors in the state,” said Reardon. “We are elated to branch out into the Orlando market as the ownership group we partnered with will continue strong growth in the area.”
