BOGOTA, COLOMBIA—Thorsten Kirschke, president, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, will be the keynote speaker of the 2013 South American Hotel Investment Conference, to be held at the JW Marriott Hotel here, Sept. 23-24.
“The major players in the international hotel industry meet year after year at SAHIC to look at the new business opportunities offered by the region for the development of their projects,” stated Arturo García Rosa, president of SAHIC and chairman of HVS South America. He added, “The participation of Thorsten Kirschke will certainly be a major conference highlight and will clearly show that this event stands as Latin America’s benchmark and most important event.”
Kirschke’s speech will address his experience in the industry, his vision on the development of new projects in the region and the analysis of scenarios and challenges in the continent, according to HVS.
“The tremendous growth opportunities in Latin America today, make it not only a focus for Carlson Rezidor, but the hospitality and real estate industry as a whole,” Kirschke said in a statement. “I look forward to have the opportunity to share my thoughts on the industry and where I believe we are heading as we look to 2014 and beyond.”
