Tsogo Sun Extends Affiliation with Interval International

LONDON—Interval International has renewed its long-term affiliation with Tsogo Sun’s Southern Sun Resorts, a vacation ownership program in Southern Africa.
The agreement covers six properties across the region. In addition, Interval will continue to provide a customized package of services, including program design support and a points-based club reservation service.
Tsogo Sun’s Southern Sun Resorts include Beacon Island at Plettenberg Bay; Umhlanga Sands and Cabana Beach on the Indian Ocean coast; Drakensberg Sun in the mountain range from which the resort takes its name; and Pine Lake and Sabi River Sun, located close to Kruger National Park. The SunSwop program currently has approximately 25,000 members who own in excess of 41,000 vacation ownership weeks.
By the end of this year, all six resorts will have been completely refurbished and upgraded.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
