ST. PETERSBURG, FL—IHG has opened the Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg here.
The new 119-room hotel is owned and managed by Menna Development & Management, Inc. and is franchised by an affiliate of IHG. The property is the first Staybridge Suites in the city and the second for the brand in the greater Tampa Bay area. The Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg features 4,000 sq. ft. of event space, including a 2,200-sq.-ft. ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows.
"The Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg is the first new build hotel to open in the downtown St. Petersburg area in over a decade, so today's grand opening celebration is exciting not just for us, but for the entire community," stated Robert Radomski, vp, Brand Management, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites brands.
