HUIZHOU, CHINA—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has opened the Sheraton Bailuhu Resort, Huizhou in China’s southern Guangdong province.
Owned by Agile Property Holdings Limited Company, the resort is the second Sheraton hotel in Huizhou city. Designed by WATG Company and Wilson Company, the eight-story Sheraton Bailuhu Resort structure offers 449 guestrooms, including 44 suites.
As the newest addition to Sheraton’s portfolio of over 60 properties in Greater China, the opening of Sheraton Bailuhu Resort also marks the brand’s continuing growth in the country as well as its expansion plans across Asia Pacific, where Sheraton recently celebrated its 100th hotel milestone.
Qian Jin, president, Greater China, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., stated, “Local demand for Sheraton’s brand is surging, driven by the region’s robust economic growth and rapid infrastructure development, and our new resort is well positioned to serve increasingly refined hospitality needs in Guangdong province.”
