SPOKANE, WA—Red Lion Hotels Corporation today added a new franchise in the Washington state market of Walla Walla. The hotel is expected to join the system before the end of the year.
“This particular property is located in historic downtown Walla Walla where many fantastic wine tasting rooms and fabulous restaurants are located,” stated Ron Burgett, EVP of lodging and brand development for Red Lion Hotels. “We have a great working relationship with this owner who already owns another Red Lion franchise.”
The future Red Lion Inn & Suites Walla Walla, located at 325 E. Main St, has 80 rooms and is currently undergoing a complete renovation that includes a new breakfast room and lobby, updated guest rooms, a fitness center and a new whirlpool spa.
"Based on our experience with Red Lion, we think it is the right brand for this hotel," Buggsi Patel of BHG Hotels, owner of the property, said in a statement.
