VIRGINIA BEACH, VA—New Castle Hotels and Resorts named Jason McCarthy general manager of the 122-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach.
McCarthy recently oversaw the $1.5 million renovation and rebrand of a Norfolk-area hotel in the state and prior to that, McCarthy served as the general manager for the SpringHill Suites in Chesapeake, VA.
Located a few miles from the Norfolk airport, as well as General Dynamics, Naval Station Norfolk, the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, and Old Dominion and Virginia Wesleyan Universities, the pet-friendly Homewood Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach offers guests suites equipped with full kitchens and sofa beds. The hotel features the brand’s signature, complimentary, daily hot breakfast, and midweek dinner and drinks. An indoor pool and fitness center, complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel and free parking are available.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach is operated by Shelton, CT-based New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a third-party hotel manager, owner and developer with 30 hotels and resorts and nearly 5,000 rooms under contract or in development.
