NEW YORK—NYLO New York officially debuted last night on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
The hotel’s 285 guestrooms pay homage to New York’s industrial jazz era, with design elements celebrating the period.
Architect and interior design firm Stonehill & Taylor and design consultant Stephane Dupoux collaborated on the hotel, located at 77th St. and Broadway, to capture the cultural essence of New York City while maintaining the urban, industrial style that is the hallmark of the NYLO brand.
NYLO New York City is introducing a new technology-driven concierge and an updated take on hotel mini-bars. The hotel offers a virtual concierge service by Monscierge and, deviating from the typical mini-bar experience, the hotel’s LOCL Bar offers a selection of New York-centric items, full-service bar and lounge environment.
Located within the hotel’s lobby is a piano lounge that offers a selection of live entertainment throughout the week and a library with a fireplace that was kept from the hotel’s original architecture, which dates to 1910.
Restaurant RedFarm offers contemporary Chinese cuisine and restaurant Serafina brings Northern Italian cuisine to guests and locals.
