ATLANTA—IHG has signed the first internationally branded hotel in Borjomi, Georgia, the Crowne Plaza Borjomi, set to open in 2015.
The property will operate under a franchise agreement with Park Hotel LLC, and T&T Consulting will manage the hotel.
Crowne Plaza Borjomi will be converted from an existing building into an 84-room hotel with 16 club rooms, a spa and fitness studio, six meeting rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a fine dining restaurant and a cocktail lounge.
“We’re delighted and very proud to be the first international hotel company to develop a hotel in Borjomi," stated Aron Libinson, associate VP of Development, Russia, CIS & Georgia. "Georgia is a priority market for us and we will soon be opening our second hotel here and have another two in the pipeline. We look forward to working with Park Hotel LLC and continuing to grow our brands here.”
