MCLEAN, VA—Hilton Worldwide has signed a new hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia: The Hollis Halifax – A DoubleTree Suites by Hilton.
The 120-suite hotel, formerly a Radisson Suite Hotel, is undergoing renovation. The completed conversion is expected by early September.
The 10-story property will be owned and operated by Magna Hotels, Inc. It is the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Nova Scotia. Recently, Hilton opened the dual-build Hamton Inn by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton Halifax-Downtown in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Once converted, the hotel will feature DoubleTree signatures such as its chocolate chip cookie and globally recognized CARE culture, which stands for “Create a Rewarding Experience.” Suite amenities include WiFi, a 42-in. HDTV, desk, wet bar, microwave and mini-refrigerator. The hotel will offer an indoor heated pool and whirlpool, fitness center, business center, complimentary high-speed Internet access and 3,500 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Duffy’s Steakhouse and Seafood restaurant will be available on-site and will offer various meals and snacks through the hotel’s in-room dining options.
