MILAN, ITALY—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. will add Excelsior Hotel Gallia here to The Luxury Collection portfolio.

Located in the Piazza Duca d’Aosta, Excelsior Hotel Gallia opened in 1932 in central Milan. Now undergoing a renovation and strategic expansion, the hotel will marry contemporary design with the Belle Époque architectural style, according to the company. Studio Marco Piva leads the new architecture and design concept.
