SAN CLEMENTE, CA—Evolution Hospitality has assumed management of the DoubleTree Golf Resort San Diego, the 25th property in its management portfolio.

The property sits on 130 acres, and is located about 25 minutes from Downtown San Diego and San Diego International Airport, and within five miles of leading technology companies including Intel, General Atomics, Broadcom, Cymer, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Sony, SAIC, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
The hotel features 174 guestrooms and suites, 14,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, two restaurants, a 5,500 sq.-ft. health club, two pools, five tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course.
An extensive renovation to update and enhance the entire hotel is planned for 2014.
