Aqua Extends Beyond Hawaii with new Guam Properties

HONOLULU—Aqua Hospitality will assume management of two hotels in Guam this month on behalf of Sentry Hospitality.
The two new properties currently operate as a Ramada and a Days Inn. However, the Ramada property will be renamed Aqua Suites Guam and become part of the Aqua Hotels & Resorts brand. The Days Inn property will retain its flag. Each property will undergo a renovation in 2014.
The new management contracts represent a milestone for Aqua as they will be the company's first hotels outside of Hawaii.The two properties brings the number of hotels in the company's portfolio to 26.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
