BLOOMINGTON, MN—AmericInn acquired a former Hampton Inn, located here at 4201 American Boulevard West, as part of its continuing national expansion strategy.
The 135-room hotel is being upgraded with more than $1 million in renovations, including the addition of a new indoor swimming pool and spa area.
The hotel's name was changed to the AmericInn Hotel & Suites Bloomington West; the property is managed by AmericInn.
The hotel is close to the Mall of America, Southdale Mall, Minneapolis/St Paul Airport and numerous corporate headquarters.
In addition to growing through acquisitions and brand conversions, AmericInn is in the middle of a $75 million, systemwide renovation initiative known as “AmericInn Refresh” that is creating an updated look and feel in all of its locations.
