WAUPUN, WI—AmericInn broke ground on a 61-room hotel here.
AmericInn Waupun owners, Andrew and Jenny Glewen, leaders from AmericInn, the City of Waupun, Consolidated Construction and The Lighthouse Hospitality Group attended the ceremony.
The 66,000-sq.-ft, three-story hotel will be constructed by Consolidated Construction and managed by The Lighthouse Hospitality Group.
This next-generation AmericInn will feature a pub serving drinks and appetizers, swimming pool and whirlpool, fitness room and hotelwide Internet access.
Paul Kirwin, president/CEO of AmericInn, stated, “We look forward to serving our customers at this prime Wisconsin location with the distinctive AmericInn hospitality experience that is comfortable, friendly and relaxing."
The hotel will offer the free AmericInn Perk breakfast featuring a variety of hot, home-style breakfast selections along with a 24-hour coffee bar.
The AmericInn Waupun will be located off Highway 151 at 204 Shaler Drive.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
